It may be a little cold now, but the Indiana Department of Natural Resources suggests the thought of a future fishing trip may warm the heart of a youngster on your Christmas list.

To help you make giving that gift easier, you visit the DNR's Division of Fish and Wildlife's Web page ( www.in.gov/dnr/ fishwild) and click on the link to print out a free, official "Fish Trip IOU" form you can slip into a stocking, envelope or gift-wrapped box of fishing tackle.

One reminder: Whenever you take that fishing trip, all license fees and regulations do apply.

Try non-extreme winter exercise

Skiing, ice-skating and snowshoeing are all terrific exercise for legs and core muscles, but extreme sports aren't for everyone. For something low-impact to get blood pumping in the cold winter months, hot yoga and Pilates are great options. These alternative methods of exercise also help to increase flexibility, and can control blood pressure.
