Urban Dictionary Name Definition Week on Facebook | TOP NAMES

With Facebook, once again starting a status trend, "What is your Urban Name Definition," I thought you may find this interesting.

What are the most popular names ever? And what is the "urban definition of them?"

Ok, first my search lead me to Grupthink, which listed some very weird top names of all times, that are too hiddious to even type, so I won't. So I shrugged a lil and went on back to Google. After another search, I found a promising lead. I ended up on BabyCenter.com, where they have a list of most popular baby names ever. Hey, we all started out as babies, so figured this was okay.

At BabyCenter.com they had the most popular names narrowed down by the years. Which was way cool! You can see the most popular names for the year 1890 if you wish. That being a lil too far back for me, I scooted on over to the year 1980, the closest which I could find to my birth year.

And now the results of the most popular names and the urban definition of 1980 are:

BOYS: URBAN DEFINITION:

Michael, urban definition: A very cool guy who makes everyone laugh. Once you meet him, you will want to be his friend right away.
Christopher : means Christ-bearer, only cool people are called Christopher
Jason : the only name that can be spelled through 5 months of the year.
David: A formidable foe to normal people. intelligent, strong forceful. a weird hybrid of a bully and a nerd.
James: A name for someone who is absolutely fantastic and is your favourite.
Matthew: Of Hebrew origin, meaning "gift of God".
Joshua: A boyfriend who cooks, cleans, pays, and drives. A Joshua.
John: a very extreamly confusing guy. shows that he has feelings for you sometimes, but then might just randomly stop talking to you at any time.
Robert: The most incredible guy in the universe, end of story. He's sweet, caring, and truly amazing. He isn't concerned with himself at all, but instead he's concerned with other people.
Joseph: A man's man.Extremely Awesome.

Girls URBAN DEFINITION:

Jennifer: a fun, outgoing person. generally smart but can be a total blonde at times.
Amanda: A women named Amanda is typically very beautiful with an incredible body and nice eyes.
Jessica: a wonderfull name that means "gracious gift from God"
Melissa: Melissa is a Greek name. In Greek, it means "honey bee."
Sarah: The name "Sarah" is translated from the Hebrew language. It means "Princess"...and rightly so!
Heather: A low-growing Eurasian shrub growing in dense masses and having small evergreen leaves and clusters of small, bell-shaped pinkish-purple flowers.
Nicole: awesome person that is often imitated but never duplicated.
Amy: to take, hold, or steal your heart. a person who is a soulmate. a good lover.
Elizabeth: The most amazing, beautiful, awesome, spectacular, gorgeous, cute, incredible, breathtakeing, wonderful, pretty, adorable, and most importantly cutifulazing girl ever.
Michelle: Hebrew meaning "like God"...michelle's are often Leo's, astonishingly gorgeous, very athletic, dark hair and usually curly/waivy/thick, another thing is that almost all Michelle's have similar noses.

Widower: Murphy knew she was dying - CANOE

Brittany Murphy told her mother Sharon she loved her the morning of her passing - because the actress knew she was dying, according to her widower.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office ruled earlier this week the Clueless star's primary cause of death was pneumonia, with contributing factors of anaemia and "multiple drug intoxication".

Her husband Simon Monjack believed the 32-year-old had contracted laryngitis, and he and Murphy's mum were nursing in their shared Hollywood Hills home, expecting her to make a full recovery.

But Monjack insists Murphy knew she was dying the morning she suffered a fatal cardiac arrest on December 20 - and reached out to her mum to bid farewell.

He tells U.S. talk show host Larry King, "Her last days were full of the Academy (Award) screeners, being in a soft, pink, fluffy Beverly Hills robe, mama coming and bringing soup and laying in - and laying on the sofa next to the bed.

"What happened that day (she died) was Brittany had laryngitis. I have no idea what to do with laryngitis. I'm a rabbi, not a doctor, so I pray instead of prescribe. So I asked Sharon to come down. We'd been talking, anyway, half the night...We were planning to move to New York, have a baby... We were talking about baby names.

"I asked Sharon to come down and Sharon came down. Brittany, for the first time, was almost fighting for air. Her eyes were not right. They were darting off left, right and center.

"That morning she woke up (and) she couldn't breathe. She went out to get some air. Sharon followed her out. I'll say this, because I know you (Sharon) can't. She said, 'Mom, I'm dying. I love you.'"

Murphy's mum Sharon adds, "From when she collapsed, I was with her in the bathroom. And I was sitting across from her with her little puppy, Clara. And she said, 'Mommy, please hug me.' And I went to get up and she just collapsed like right there."

Sharon Murphy and Monjack's comments were made in an interview before the L.A. Coroner declared the star's cause of death.
